Introduction

The National Testing Agency (NTA) reinstated the 75% marks eligibility criterion for JEE Mains in 2022, mandating a minimum of 75% marks in the Class 12th board examination for admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and centrally funded technical institutions (CFTIs). This criterion, previously waived due to COVID-19 disruptions, now serves as a prerequisite for candidates seeking admission to these esteemed institutions. Those failing to meet the 75% marks requirement will not be considered for admission.
